JNTUH-University Finale

Cancer is the 2nd biggest cause of Death across the globe including India. To create awareness and Prevent the disease, Iskcon Kukatapally is conducting Massive State level Elocution competition with the objective of “Kill Cancer’.

In a grand ceremony, ISKCON Kukatapally conducted University Level Finale for JNTU Hyderabad on 18th December, 2019 The Chief Guest was the Governor of Telangana, Honourable Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan. Her Excellency offered aarti to A. C. Bhakti Vedanta Swami Srila Prabhupad, Founder Acharya of Iskcon. She emphasized on Healthy lifestyle choices and appreciated Iskcon Kukatapally’s massive Cancer awareness program.

Being from the medical profession herself, she spoke of the importance of the subject and its relevance for the Youth of today, recounting how during her practicing days she had even treated female patients suffering from cancer. She was also all-praise for ISKCON’s humanitarian efforts in choosing such a subject, spreading mass-awareness through the competition and co-ordinating the efforts so nicely despite the numbers involved.

Mahashringa Das, President of ISKCON Kukatapally spoke about ISKCON’s commitment and vision for the greater good of Human society. Students from 430 Engineering and Pharmacy colleges affiliated with JNTU H university participated in the event. Governor of Telengana awarded Prizes to the Winners of University level Elocution competition on the Topic” Kill Cancer”.
